Herring Bank is looking for a Principal Cloud Platform Operations Director to oversee operations and lead modernization efforts in its cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in cloud operations, with hands-on expertise in DevOps and Linux administration.

This senior-level role requires strong leadership in a regulated environment, and offers the possibility of hybrid or remote work for exceptional candidates. Regular travel to Amarillo is required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and production operations.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in cloud operations or related technical roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational direction for cloud-hosted platforms and deployment automation.
• Build and govern CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Oversee production deployment pipelines for cloud and application workloads.
