Job summary

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer to secure hybrid‑cloud mission infrastructure and services across on‑prem data centers and AWS. You will drive Tier 2–4 troubleshooting and maintain DISA STIG security baselines within a critical Sponsor office.

You will lead Windows/Linux server operations, VMware ecosystems, AD/DNS/DHCP, and data center management while coordinating risks and stakeholder schedules in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and infrastructure operations.
• Experience providing Tier 2–4 engineering support in federal or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vCenter and NSX-T.
• Experience with AD, DNS, DFS and DHCP services.
• Experience applying DISA STIGs and security baselines.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering across Windows and Linux servers, storage, and virtualization.
• Provide Tier 2–4 engineering support in a 24/7 environment.
• Maintain VMware vCenter/NSX-T and automation solutions.
• Build and maintain Windows servers in AWS and on‑premises with policy alignment.
• Manage core enterprise services including AD, DNS, DFS, and DHCP.
• Coordinate risk assessments, timelines, and cross‑team challenges.
• Monitor metrics and alert when thresholds are reached.
• Track service requests and incidents using ServiceNow.
