Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a seasoned Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to drive DoD cloud modernization in Albuquerque, NM. You will architect, engineer, implement, and sustain secure hybrid cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS.

The role combines strategic cloud architecture with hands‑on engineering, working with cybersecurity, network, and application teams to meet DoD standards and Zero Trust objectives, with potential technical leadership.

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
12+ years of relevant experience; degree may be substituted.
Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Minimum of five years architecting and implementing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
Experience designing hybrid cloud environments with on‑prem and cloud integration.
Strong security, Zero Trust, and NIST guidance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, engineer, and deploy secure hybrid cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
Lead the implementation of cloud modernization initiatives from concept to production.
Develop green-field cloud environments with security, scalability, and automation best practices.
Implement IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation, or equivalents.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to meet DoD standards and accreditation.
