Job summary

JCS Solutions seeks a senior Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to design and deploy secure hybrid cloud environments in DoD programs in Albuquerque, NM. You will lead architecture, engineering, and implementation across Azure and AWS, ensuring Zero Trust alignment and RMF compliance with DoD guidance.

The role requires TS clearance, IAT Level II certification, and hands-on IaC, cloud networking, and endpoint management expertise. Competitive compensation and strong growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or equivalent
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud design/implementation experience
• Extensive Azure infrastructure and platform service experience
• Hybrid cloud design integrating on‑premises with Azure and AWS
• Hands-on experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency automating cloud administration with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, AWS CLI
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, Zero Trust, NIST RMF guidance

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions across Azure and AWS
• Develop greenfield cloud environments to support DoD mission requirements
• Create secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures aligned with DoD cybersecurity guidance and Zero Trust
• Implement IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation
• Manage Intune, Defender suites, Purview, and Azure Virtual Desktop for enterprise endpoints
• Engineer secure networking integrating on‑prem with cloud environments
• Deploy cloud monitoring, logging, backup, DR, and security services
• Automate deployments and operations with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, AWS CLI
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, networking, and app teams for integrated solutions
• Support accreditation activities and RMF compliance
• Evaluate emerging cloud tech and mentor junior engineers
