Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc is seeking a Building Science Project Engineer with extensive experience in CRE-related assessments and due diligence. The role involves evaluating building systems, planning field work, and producing high quality technical reports for clients.

The candidate will conduct site visits, coordinate with project managers, and deliver timely, accurate insights to support real estate transactions. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating.
• 3+ years of experience performing property inspections.
• 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate condition of building systems and recommend repairs.
• Perform site reconnaissance, data compilation, organization, and research.
• Author technical reports and create supporting documents (maps, appendices).
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines; communicate progress to PM and client.
