Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Project Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of HVDC projects and tenders. You will coordinate global multidisciplinary teams and serve as the main technical contact for clients, guiding engineering from development through testing and commissioning.

The role offers autonomous work, collaboration with international teams, and opportunities to tackle complex technical challenges in modern power transmission. English required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably electrical.
• 5+ years of technical leadership in multidisciplinary projects.
• HVDC experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities and ensure work is based on complete/accurate information.
• Lead development of technical solutions for complex HVDC projects and tenders.
• Drive engineering activities while supporting schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments.
• Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.
