Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Lab Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm–12:00am) in New Freedom, PA. The role involves hands-on testing of large commercial chillers, instrumentation setup, and troubleshooting HVAC systems.

You will work with engineers and fellow technicians to evaluate new tech, modify equipment, and improve testing processes. A $2,500 signing bonus is available upon joining.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical work experience in HVAC, refrigeration, industrial maintenance, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run performance tests on large chillers.
• Install and configure instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, controls and facility systems.
• Develop, write and maintain test procedures for equipment operation.
• Train and support other team members in testing practices.
