Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced HVAC lead to travel to diverse job sites to diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and multi-zone systems with pneumatic, electronic, and EMCS controls. You will design modification plans and oversee installation of components connected to campus central control systems.

The role requires a Journeyman refrigeration license, EPA certification, and ability to supervise technicians while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Formación

• Knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to prepare engineering documents, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
• Ability to lead and train staff and/or students.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints and/or technical manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, building materials, and emergency maintenance.
• Detailed knowledge of HVAC systems that incorporate digital control systems and are linked to a multi-building, computer-based Energy Management and Control System (EMCS).

Responsabilidades

• Leads lower-level HVAC technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of commercial air conditioning and multi-zone systems with digital controls.
• Develops HVAC modification plans and estimates jobs for remodel activities.
• Creates preventive maintenance checklists for new equipment.
• Interprets as-built blueprints and recommends system modifications for remodels per regulations.
• Researches and selects materials for HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Ensures safety and environmental practices are followed and promoted.
• Estimates jobs, layouts, materials, and selections.
• Interprets structural, mechanical, and electrical building prints.
• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial and multi-zone heating and cooling systems.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
