Service Experts in Scarborough, ME is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform precision tune-ups and maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. You will communicate with customers, promote services, and work under supervision to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnosing potential issues, delivering parts, and supporting field operations. Requires 6+ years in HVAC, EPA/safety certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 6+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferred.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and related accessories.
• Proficient with HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostics.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine precision tune-ups and maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Assist Service Technician in servicing HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Record all required information on a handheld device and complete paperwork neatly.
