Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Technical/Trade School certification or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Requires at least 4 years of experience in the field or related area.
• EPA 608 License or equivalent.
• Complete knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• General knowledge of electrical distribution, plumbing, life/safety, boilers, chillers, and energy management systems.
• Thorough working knowledge of computers.
• Prefer prior casino/hotel experience.
• Ability to learn and comply with laws affecting the casino industry.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Installs new units or replacement parts according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and work on rooftops and outside locations.
• Work in hot, damp, cold, and dry environments; climb ladders as needed.
• Read blueprints and wiring schematics to guide work.
• Plan and execute tasks with experience and judgment; may lead others.
• Provide support services across the Facilities Department.
