Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Iowa seeks an experienced HVAC Installer to install, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems across the facility. Follow OSHA/EPA guidelines and lock-out/tag-out procedures, and work with both high and low voltage systems.

The role includes mentoring junior staff and reading complex blueprints while ensuring safety and quality. This full-time position offers $23/hour (premium pay) with paid time off and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in property maintenance or mechanical fields.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
• Certification or licensing in HVAC is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Advise, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all HVAC equipment and associated systems.
• Work within OSHA and EPA guidelines.
• Ensure electrical safety practices when working with circuits.
• Follow Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Be capable with High and Low Voltage systems.
• Assist in monitoring and training lower level HVAC staff.
• Conduct work safely and promote safety among others.
