Job summary

Aire Serv South Austin is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. Lead by example, deliver top-quality service, and help grow our rapidly expanding operation.

In this role you will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for residential and commercial clients while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and controls.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical HVAC issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple service calls.
• NATE certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system failures and mechanical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service agreements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior HVAC technicians in the field.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations.
