Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a skilled HVAC field service professional to commission, troubleshoot and service systems at customer sites. You will lead end-to-end testing, start-ups, and repairs, working closely with project teams to meet customer needs.

A strong safety mindset and the ability to mentor colleagues are essential for success. The role requires a high school diploma and extensive HVAC experience, with EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 10+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
• Technical school or formal training is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency for field reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, programming download, startup, commissioning and service on assigned projects.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction through diagnosis and repair.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and track company assets on site.
• Mentor teammates and adapt to overtime or overnight stays as needed.
