Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior HVAC Technologist to support day-to-day operation, upkeep, and reliability of facility systems in a manufacturing environment. You will diagnose and repair rooftop units, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and contractors to minimize downtime.

This role requires advanced HVAC/R skills, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to document maintenance activities accurately.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or equivalent with 7 years of experience maintaining commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, boiler, and/or autoclave.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for HVAC systems and support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop units (RTUs) and associated HVAC equipment, including filters, coils, belts, motors, and electrical components.
Diagnose and repair HVAC/R system failures, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues; troubleshoot compressors, motors, fans, and control circuits.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency service calls to minimize downtime.
Maintain daily logging and inspection of facility systems to ensure operations within specifications.
Obtain quotes and initiate purchase requests for maintenance and renovation work.
Supervise and verify execution of preventive maintenance routines; mentor lower-level technicians.
