Job summary

M.C. Dean, headquartered in Tysons, VA, seeks an HVAC Technician to troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems and supporting building services at critical facilities.

You will monitor BAS, operate boiler and chiller plants, and perform preventive maintenance while meeting safety requirements. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with extensive HVAC experience and the ability to work at heights, lift heavy items, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of HVAC experience.
• Experience with chillers, boilers, VAV systems and automated controls.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights; strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor engineering systems; maintain logs.
• Mentor HVAC technicians.
• Operate site-critical systems: HVAC, boilers, BAS, life safety.
• Monitor and control building equipment and fire alarm panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems.
