Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an HVAC Technician to design, operate, and maintain critical facility systems in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, VAV systems, and building automation control networks.

A strong safety mindset and capability to mentor junior staff are essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with 6+ years in complex HVAC environments, and prefer a Journeyman/EPA certification with HVAC training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years in HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, and VAV systems.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Journeyman license or EPA Certification preferred and HVAC training completed.

Responsibilities

• Mentor HVAC technicians.
• Operate and maintain site-critical HVAC and related systems.
• Monitor building automation systems and fire alarm panels as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, VAV, HVAC controls, and life-safety systems.
• Record faults and respond to emergencies.
