University of North Texas is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to maintain and repair HVAC/R systems across campus buildings in Denton. The role focuses on routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of boiler and air handling components, with duties spanning AHU, coils, thermostats, valves, and related equipment.

The position requires five years of maintenance experience, a Texas driver’s license, and flexibility for overtime or weekend work.

Competenze

Five years of experience in maintenance/repair or related field.
Valid Texas driver's license within 30 days of employment.
Ability to inspect and repair HVAC/R systems and related equipment.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Mansioni

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems in campus buildings.
Troubleshoot and repair AHU, reheat coils, thermostats, valves, and related components.
Inspect equipment for noise/heat; clean fans, vents, and ducts.
Repair minor motor and equipment failures; address ice machines and pumps as needed.
Adjust valves and controls to regulate temperature and flow.
Record readings, repairs, and downtime; maintain accurate logs.
Work primarily in Residential and Dining facilities across campus.
Operate and monitor building automation controls; support on-call rotations.
