Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with HVAC central plant systems and equipment safety devices.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, fans, chillers, boilers, air compressors, and testing safety devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investigating utility systems and troubleshoot operational problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pump engines and equipment, including checking oil, grease, and filters.
• Pull, repair and analyze mechanical equipment to complete repairs.
• Assist in installing new utility system improvements.
• Respond to maintenance schedules and ensure duties are performed.
• Coordinate with other staff and train new employees as directed.
• Keep maintenance records up to date with work orders.
