Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) seeks an HVAC Mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems across the Washington, DC portfolio.

Applicants must hold a Washington, DC 3rd Class Engineer's License and have 3–5 years of hands-on experience with boilers, chillers, and BAS. The role includes on-call duties, safety compliance, and collaboration with tenants and management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Washington, DC 3rd Class Engineer's License.
• 3–5 years of hands-on commercial HVAC repair experience.
• Strong ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Read drawings and manuals to support repairs and upgrades.
• Monitor BAS and adjust equipment for energy efficiency.
• Communicate with property management and contractors; on-call as needed.
