Job summary

The City of Charlotte's Aviation Department is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, repair and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This role emphasizes working on PC Air units that cool aircraft on the ground and requires strong electrical and plumbing skills.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with 5 years of related experience, or an associate degree with 3 years, and a NC State HVAC license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance of HVAC and related systems.

• Perform semi-skilled to skilled repairs and preventive maintenance to plumbing and electrical equipment.
• Complete all associated paperwork.
