Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician (Licensed) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC systems across client facilities. You will read blueprints, use CMMS for work orders, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on every task.

You will install, repair, and maintain equipment such as boilers, air handling units, motors, pumps, and controls, while mentoring junior technicians and coordinating with subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of commercial HVAC and building maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required; state HVAC license required.
• Refrigeration experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• On-call availability and safety compliance knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated team player who can multitask.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance; completes CMMS documentation.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains HVAC equipment (boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs, VAVs).
• Ensures safe operation and regulatory compliance during tasks.
• Escorts subcontractors and coordinates on-site work.
• Mentor and train HVAC/general trades technicians.
• Travel to other facilities as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe workplace during and after tasks.
