Texas Biomedical Research Institute is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to lead maintenance and repair efforts for HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC repair, electrical work, and the ability to mentor junior technicians. Texas Biomed is adding a new position on our HVAC team - a Senior HVAC Technician!
This technician will perform and / or oversee HVAC maintenance work utilizing advanced skills to perform comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM), diagnose problems, make repairs and / or replace worn or defective parts on building systems, machines, laboratory equipment and HVAC equipment. Expected to lead system diagnostics, develop extensive equipment PM processes, and lead PM execution. Will be required to participate in SRA Federal background check.
The Role :
Our Ideal Candidate :
Requires a high school diploma or GED with advanced certification and / or licensing obtained in a technical area
Requires at least 12 years HVAC repair and maintenance experience; commercial / industrial experience preferred
Requires 12 years HVA trade application and / or training
Experience with chillers, mechanical piping and boiler maintenance required
Experience with CMMS / FMS system, PLC programming & installation, CFC certification preferred
Requires Texas Operators Driver's License with good driving record required
