Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District seeks an experienced HVAC Supervisor – Facilities for the 2026-2027 school year. The role oversees installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of HVAC and building automation systems, assigns staff, and manages preventive maintenance schedules and budgets.

The position requires extensive experience, EPA Universal certification, and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years of college HVAC courses preferred.
• EPA Universal license required or willing to secure within first year.
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license; HVAC/licensing as asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and assign work requests.
• Assign personnel to jobs.
• Supervise repair and installation of equipment and control systems.
• Conduct quality checks of work to assure acceptability.
• Oversee repair and replacement of building automation systems, compressors.
• Train staff in proper use of tools and work procedures.
• Maintain records of material and labor used and inventory.
• Work with principals and supervisors to complete projects.
• Detect needed repairs via inspections.
• Respond to emergency calls during regular and after hours.
