Job summary

Service Experts is seeking an experienced HVAC technician in Columbus, OH to perform diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial systems under minimal supervision. You will communicate with customers, promote services, and ensure satisfaction while reporting to a Field Supervisor/GM.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with HVAC training and 4+ years’ experience, EPA/safety certs, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and at least 4+ years of experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls under minimal supervision.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems professionally and promptly.
• Diagnose and service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Deliver parts/equipment and collect payment; document accurately on the handheld device.
• Communicate with dispatch and maintain status updates while on duty.
• Promote products and services; relay replacement leads to Sales/Service Coordinator.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are cared for and properly stocked.
• Represent the company ethically and professionally; perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
