Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician III in Austin, TX to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment onsite. You will lead rebuilds, mentor junior techs, and interact with customers, providing clear status updates and ensuring safety.

The role requires strong experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot defective components and wiring
• Lead rebuilds and mentor Level I/II technicians on tasks
• Analyze trend data to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and OSHA compliance
