Job summary

American Residential Services (Blue Flame) is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our team in the Washington, DC area. We have calls every day and offer strong earning potential with uncapped commissions and incentives.

As a Technician, you will diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, follow proper procedures, document work, and participate in ongoing training. Competitive benefits include a company vehicle, cell phone/tablet, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO

Qualifications

• 5 years of residential HVAC service technician experience.
• EPA certification (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass background, MVR and drug screening.
• Ability to enter attics, crawlspaces, and lifting heavy equipment.
• Availability to work some weekend days.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and address residential customer’s HVAC concerns and present options to customers.
• Successfully perform all service repairs at a high proficiency level to customer’s satisfaction.
• Understand and follow proper diagnostic procedures when servicing and repairing equipment.
• Completes all required documentation on services, explains guarantees/warranties and collects, records and delivers fees to the office.
• Attend weekly training meetings.
