Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is hiring a full-time HVAC Service Technician III to service a range of commercial and industrial equipment in Colorado. You will receive comprehensive training across in-person, online, and on-the-job programs and lead rebuilds and retrofits while mentoring junior technicians.

The role involves servicing rooftops, chillers, water source heat pumps, and other systems, with travel to various sites and a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred; OSHA 10 preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Licensing/training per local law.
• Mentoring experience of junior technicians.
• First aid/CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters and belts, lubricating components.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring for fan coils, chillers, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, condensers.
• Inspect equipment to identify problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Analyze chiller trend data for optimal performance.
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits; mentor levels I and II technicians.
