Service Experts in Columbia, MD is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, service and repair residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.

Applicants should have 4+ years in HVAC, EPA and safety certifications, and strong diagnostic skills. You’ll perform maintenance, handle parts delivery, and document workflow with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• HVAC technician with 4+ years of experience and a technical training certification.
• EPA and safety certifications required by local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely manner.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivers and removes parts and equipment for service jobs.
• Records information on a handheld device and completes paperwork accurately.
• Promotes products/services and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction.
