Daikin Applied Americas in Nashville is seeking a Service Technician III to diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and air handling systems. You will lead levels I and II through hands-on demonstrations, work with customers, and participate in training to maintain certifications.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience and a valid license.

Competenze

HVAC tech with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Proven ability to perform preventative maintenance on commercial/industrial systems.
Experience with boilers, chillers, and rooftop units is preferred.
EPA Universal Technician Certification required, as necessary.

Mansioni

Perform maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines and lubricating components.
Repair or replace defective equipment and wiring on chillers, rooftops, boilers, and air handling units.
Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
Analyze chiller trend data to optimize performance.
Lead rebuilds and retrofits, guiding Levels I and II technicians.
Maintain records for billing, inventory, and timekeeping.
Communicate status to customers before, during, and after service.
Attend regional training and maintain required certifications.
Ensure clean work areas and compliance with safety policies.
Travel as needed, possibly overnight.
