Job summary

Daikin Applied in Denver, CO is seeking a Service Technician II to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment. You will service rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and related components onsite, while documenting work and assisting junior technicians.

Minimum 3+ years in HVAC with a high school diploma or GED and HVAC certificate. A valid driver’s license is required; OSHA 10 and EPA Universal Technician certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility.
• HVAC certification or technical school completion.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification within 90 days of hire (preferred).
• EPA Universal Technician certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, replacing filters and belts, lubrication.
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment and components.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns.
• Lead Level I technicians through hands-on troubleshooting demonstrations.
• Support centrifugal rebuilds under Lead and Level III technicians.
• Record and report time, billing, and inventory accurately.
• Explain technical information to customers in clear terms.
• Participate in training and maintain required certifications.
