Job summary

TP Mechanical Contractors is seeking a full-time HVAC technician in Dayton, OH to troubleshoot and service rooftop units, boilers, chiller, and refrigeration systems. You should read blueprints, communicate effectively with on-site teams including sub-contractors, and represent TP Mechanical Contractors professionally on job sites.

You will work independently, lead when necessary, and handle emergency situations with a strong technical background and precise documentation.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
5 years commercial plumbing/HVAC/refrigeration experience.
EPA or Universal license a plus.
Type 2 or Universal Refrigerant License
HVAC chiller and boiler certifications a plus

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller, and control system problems.
Follows up with customers for quality assurance purposes and ensures customers are 100% satisfied.
Can work independently with little direction and is capable of solving problems.
Attends, if needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects.
Has the ability to identify and locate parts/suppliers.
On call as required and fills out the corresponding paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called.
