Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a qualified Service Technician III to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems onsite in Chattanooga, TN. You will work with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and related equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role offers opportunities to lead technicians, participate in training programs, and travel as needed, with a focus on reliability and customer communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
• Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification required, as necessary
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Lead rebuilds and retrofit of equipment; mentor Level I/II technicians.
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and reports promptly.
• Interact with customers, providing status updates before/during/after calls.
• Travel as needed, including potential overnight travel.

Mentoring experience

OSHA 10 certification
