Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a Service Technician III to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers, boilers and water source heat pumps.

Onsite role with potential overnight travel. You will lead levels I and II through hands-on demonstrations, mentor junior technicians, analyze chiller data, and ensure safety and quality while maintaining logs and communicating with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years with increasing responsibility or 7+ years related experience.
• HVAC technical diploma or equivalent experience.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Lead Levels I and II technicians through hands-on demonstrations.
• Analyze chiller trend data and monitor equipment to prevent failures.
• Record billing, inventory, and timekeeping accurately and timely.
• Interact with customers and provide status reports before, during, and after service.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness per OSHA and company policies.
