Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Service Technician to support projects across the region. You will install and repair HVAC systems, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and execute start-up and commissioning to ensure performance per design.

Ideal candidates have five years' service experience, EPA and OSHA 30 (preferred), and a valid Journeyman or Master HVAC license. Travel required; proficiency in MS Office and strong safety focus are expected.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of service experience in HVAC systems.
• EPA certified preferred.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Journeyman or Master HVAC license preferred.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of IECC/ICC/ASHRAE standards and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective HVAC maintenance and repairs.
• Start-up and commissioning of HVAC systems and components.
• Diagnose issues, document parameters, and verify performance.
• Ensure work aligns with contract scope, safety rules, and Power Design policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Keep weekly status updates on warranty calls, small projects, and service work.
• Work on designated job sites when not answering service calls.
• Other duties as assigned.
