Job summary

Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University seeks a Senior HVAC/R Technician to lead preventive maintenance and upgrades of HVAC/R systems at the Westlake, TX property. This full-time role requires four years of experience and EPA/CFC certification; pay is $26.00-$32.00 per hour, with growth opportunities and benefits.

You will mentor other technicians, document work orders, and ensure safe operation of Building Management and Life Safety systems.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in HVAC/R required.
• Associate degree or higher in HVAC/R or related fields preferred.
• EPA CFC Type I and Type II certification required; universal preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams and blueprints.
• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as property expert on all HVAC/R equipment.
• Complete work orders for HVAC-R equipment with quality results.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain logs.
• Identify problems, initiate and complete work orders and repairs.
• Coach and mentor other Techs to enhance skills.
• Audit and inspect work of other techs and provide feedback.
• Operate Building Management System and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and inventory of tools.
• Follow PPE guidelines and safety protocols; assist with other trades as needed.
