Walmart is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, in Ludington, MI to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial sites. You will lead diagnostics, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, mentor field teams, coordinate workloads, manage vendor relationships, and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining HVAC/R systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Ability to lead and mentor field teams and provide hands-on training.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA refrigerant handling regulations and codes.
• Efficient coordination of service calls, parts inventory, and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork and refrigeration units.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across commercial/industrial equipment.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Manage refrigerant handling and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands-on training and evaluating technician performance.
• Maintain parts inventory and vendor relationships to meet priorities.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical needs outside regular hours.
