Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration in Sanford, FL. The role focuses on installation, commissioning, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of HVAC/R systems across supermarket and industrial settings.

You’ll lead field teams, mentor technicians, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while managing parts, records, and on-call support to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
• 6 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and relevant AAS.
• Hold and maintain EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems.
• Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implements preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Mentors Technicians and coordinates field team assignments.
