Walmart in Amarillo, TX seeks an HVAC/R technician to oversee installation, commissioning, diagnostics and preventive maintenance for commercial refrigeration systems. You will ensure safety, compliance, and timely service across multiple store environments.

Qualified candidates will have EPA refrigerant handling certification, relevant HVAC/R experience, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. On-site job with on-call opportunities and comprehensive Walmart benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ or more HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required (Type I/II or universal).
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with glycol and CO2 systems is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversees installation and commissioning of HVAC/R systems.
• Leads diagnostics and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, refrigerant issues.
• Manages preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Maintains safety and OSHA/EPA compliance in field practices.
