Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale HVAC/mechanical projects for data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will acquire new business, build client relationships, and oversee the full project lifecycle from estimating and contract support through execution and closeout, ensuring cost, quality, schedule, and safety objectives are met.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and field crews, oversee budgets and change orders, and travel as needed

Qualifications

• This role requires 37 years of construction experience with a mechanical contractor overseeing HVAC work.
• Experience as a PM on large commercial, utility plant, industrial, hospital, or data center projects with significant mechanical scopes.
• Experience managing mechanical scopes on data center projects, including high-value programs (~$200M+).
• Experience with estimating and budgeting for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination with clients, design teams, and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale mechanical construction projects focusing on HVAC systems for mission-critical facilities.
• Acquire new business, maintain client relationships, and manage full project lifecycle from estimating to closeout.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and change orders; monitor cost, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and field crews to ensure timely approvals and issue resolution.
• Provide regular progress updates and manage stakeholder communications.
