Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Data Center HVAC Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical HVAC service and installation projects. You will serve as the primary customer contact, coordinating technicians, subcontractors, procurement, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service outcomes.

This role requires 5+ years in HVAC project management or data center operations, strong scheduling and cost-control capabilities, and proficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in project management or site coordination within HVAC, mechanical contracting, or data center operations.
• Experience commissioning data centers (IST/L2).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with project management software (CX-Alloy, Procore).
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of HVAC data center projects from handover to commissioning and warranty.
• Lead day-to-day execution, directing site teams and subcontractors.
• Manage end-to-end data center HVAC projects including retrofits, repairs, replacements, and new deployments.
• Develop project schedules, work plans, and resource assignments for field technicians.
• Maintain schedules and milestones, ensuring on-time delivery and cost control.
• Conduct kickoff meetings and align scope, deliverables, and expectations.
• Coordinate staffing and movement of field personnel between office and site.
• Monitor costs and prepare project financial reporting and forecasts.
• Review on-site facilities layout, equipment selection, and procedures for quality and safety.
