Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks a Senior HVAC Project Engineer to lead commercial/industrial HVAC design and client-facing consulting in the Fox Valley area. The role blends technical design with bid support, proposal drafting, and direct client interaction to deliver custom HVAC solutions.

Expect a flexible 1st shift, base salary up to $160,000 per year, and a benefits package. Requires a BSME/PE or licensed designer, 3+ years of experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BSME, PE, or licensed HVAC designer required.
• 3+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC load calculation software, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel to site within ~1 hour of Fox Valley, WI.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inquiries and site requirements to determine project scope and propose HVAC solutions.
• Design high-performance HVAC systems for commercial/industrial facilities including plants, offices, and warehouses.
• Perform load calculations, air distribution sizing, boiler/chiller plant design, piping layouts, and steam routing.
• Develop schematic designs and CAD/Revit models during bidding to help cost estimation.
• Draft proposals and present concepts to owners, GCs, and plant managers.
• Coordinate drawings and plan reviews to ensure compliance with codes.
