Job summary

Honeywell in Independence, OH is seeking a Sr Program Specialist for HVAC Controls (Finance). You will coordinate and manage program activities, engage stakeholders, and ensure timely project delivery.

The role requires experience with HVAC Controls, Life Safety, and Security systems, plus portfolio oversight valued at $3M–$7M. You will forecast monthly revenue and project costs-to-complete, report to the Program Manager, and work on-site at our Independence location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program support, project management, or related roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in program management tools and software such as Microsoft Project or equivalent.
• Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and facilitating communication.
• Knowledge of risk management and issue tracking processes.
• Experience with HVAC Controls, Life Safety, and/or Security systems.
• Experience managing a portfolio of projects valued at approximately $3M-$7M.
• Financial acumen with experience in monthly revenue forecasting and project cost-to-complete forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track program schedules, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely completion.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Support program managers in risk identification, issue resolution, and status reporting.
• Manage and coordinate a portfolio of projects with a combined value of approximately $3M-$7M, ensuring successful execution, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Apply technical knowledge and experience with HVAC Controls, Life Safety, and Security systems to support program and project execution.
• Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting monthly revenue and project cost-to-complete (CTC).
• Partner with program and project leadership to identify financial risks, variances, and opportunities for improved project performance.
• Maintain visibility into project schedules, financials, resources, deliverables, and overall portfolio health.
