Job summary

Frey Lutz LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and Plumbing projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with customers, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in mechanical contracting, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mechanical contracting experience.
• OSHA 10 certification with ability to obtain OSHA 30.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Financial acumen including forecasting, cost tracking, and budget management.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects ranging from $25,000 to $1,000,000 in value.
• Oversee projects from turnover and planning through completion and closeout.
• Review project scope, contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project costs, labor, material usage, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Identify potential project risks and proactively develop solutions.
• Prepare, track, and manage change orders and additional work.
• Coordinate purchasing and material requirements to support schedules.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, field leadership, and internal teams.
• Conduct project meetings and provide updates on schedule, budget, manpower, and status.
