CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Principal HVAC and Plumbing Engineer to lead our Power & Manufacturing – Advanced Energy & Manufacturing Team in Fort Washington, PA.

The role oversees multiple project teams from concept through completion, applying engineering leadership to optimize design, safety, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate has a PE license, 15+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience, and strong leadership, communication, and QA/QC skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 15 years’ progressive engineering experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office software; strong QA/QC understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple teams across projects from conception to completion.
• Guide design and engineering disciplines to meet quality and schedule targets.
• Collaborate with departments to share engineering knowledge and train staff.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
