Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and deliver multidisciplinary engineering projects. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of project design and execution—from conceptual development through detailed design and construction support—across a range of mechanical, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from design through delivery.
• Perform and oversee design development for fire protection (performance specifications), plumbing, mechanical, and piping systems.
• Conduct and quality review of project deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards (approximately 50% of workload).
• Perform process, piping, and HVAC design work (approximately 50% of workload).
• Define project requirements, scope, budgets, and staffing in coordination with Project Managers.
• Develop detailed engineering studies, reports, and schematic designs for new and existing systems.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering professional development within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years within the consulting or construction industry.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and central utility systems (including steam).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
