Job summary

Nextech, a leading HVAC/R service provider, seeks an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead the service department and technicians. You will guide staff, organize activities, and drive exceptional customer service to maintain brand strength.

The role requires strong HVAC technical background, high energy, and clear communication. You will oversee financials for operations, review PMs and P&L reports, and ensure attainment of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of management experience in HVAC contracting or building-related services.
• HVAC/R technical background is required.
• Understanding of quality management principles and effective communication.
• Experience with management and conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full financials for operations.
• Review company reports such as PMs, CINB, SLA, and P&L and share with team.
• Take calls for customer escalation issues and provide solutions.
• Ensure company goals are met monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Manage all Service-Level Agreements (SLA) with clients.
• Recruit, hire, and develop service operations team.
• Develop training plan for service support team.
• Deliver goals and metrics for the assigned group.
• Perform annual reviews and identify improvements.
• Quality assurance on all work performed at customer facilities.
• Cover in absence of next level managers.
• Create and send weekly activity schedule to VP of Operations.
