Tighe & Bond in the Northeast seeks an experienced MEP/Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC-focused projects across higher education, municipal, healthcare, and other sectors. You will coordinate closely with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Structural, and Owner teams while guiding design from study to construction, ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

PE license required and 10+ years in mechanical engineering with HVAC focus.
Experience leading HVAC/MEP projects in consulting or building design environments.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building controls, energy efficiency, and codes.
Ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.
Experience coordinating with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, architectural, and owner teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

Lead HVAC-focused projects from study through design, bidding, construction administration, and closeout.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including electrical, plumbing, and owner groups.
Develop and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Lead facility assessments, energy analyses, and HVAC feasibility studies.
Mentor junior mechanical engineers and designers.
Support public bidding, RFIs, submittals, field observations, and commissioning.
