AE Works is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to lead HVAC design and management across diverse building projects. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality plans and solutions from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in architectural or mechanical engineering.
• PE licensure required; ability to pursue additional state licenses as needed.
• 5+ years of building industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and construction administration of HVAC systems for building projects, including new construction and renovation.
• Serve as SME on mechanical engineering principles and standards; provide technical leadership and mentorship.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to meet project goals, budgets, and schedules; travel as needed for on-site collaboration.
• Develop technical documentation and construction documents; perform QA checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery and high quality outcomes.
• Support new business opportunities through interviews and client engagements.
