Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship and FREON recovery certificate.
• Experience with multiple HVAC systems and controls; ability to read codes and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to install ductwork and equipment.
• Test refrigerant circuits and adjust systems for optimum efficiency.
• Maintain and repair walk-ins, chillers and large- capacity HVAC units up to 580 tons.
