Job summary

6BO IAP World Services, Inc. seeks an HVAC Master Mechanic to install, service and repair environmental-control systems in varied facilities across the United States.

You will work with refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and ductwork, mounting equipment and testing performance to specification. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with HVAC systems, boilers, chillers up to several hundred tons, and a strong ability to read blueprints and control diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 5–7 years journey-level HVAC experience preferred.
• Completion of HVAC apprenticeship; Freon recovery certificate preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, blueprints, and control panels; ISO 9002/JCAHO awareness.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair HVAC systems in residences and commercial facilities.
• Cut, bend, thread and join tubing and piping; test for refrigerant leaks.
• Install and test chillers, boilers, and control systems; ensure safe operation and efficiency.
